Singapore is a food paradise, and if there’s one thing that stands out about the city’s dining scene, it’s that you’ll never have to go to bed hungry. Whether you’re craving comfort food after a night out, looking for a satisfying supper, or just happen to be a night owl, there’s a spot for you. From crispy chicken wings to piping hot dim sum, here are my top picks for late-night eats in Singapore.

#1) Jeffo’s; The Ultimate Late-Night Eats, Chix Wings Fix

📍 18 Duxton Road, Singapore 089484Open till late

Firstly, my top favourite is Jeffo’s. Thanks to its mouthwatering chicken wings, Jeffo’s has quickly become one of my favourite late-night eats in Singapore. If you’re a wing lover like me, you’ll want to add this to your must-visit list. Their wings are crispy, juicy, and packed with flavour—perfectly seasoned and best enjoyed with a cold beer.

But wings aren’t all they do well. Jeffo’s also serves up comfort food like cheeseburgers, mee goreng, and satay, making it a great spot whether you’re dining solo or with a group. The vibe here is casual yet cosy, making it a perfect stop after a fun night out. Remember, table reservations are only available until 7:30 PM—after that, it’s walk-in only. So plan accordingly!

#2) Newton Food Centre, A Hawker Feast

📍 500 Clemenceau Avenue North, Singapore 229495Open till late

Next, no list of late-night eats would be complete without Newton Food Centre. This iconic hawker centre has been serving up some of Singapore’s best street food for decades. If you love variety, this is the place to be.

Some of my personal must-tries include the succulent satay skewers, grilled stingray slathered in spicy sambal, and a comforting plate of Hokkien mee. The energy here is unbeatable—tables filled with hungry diners, the smoky aroma of grilled meats, and the satisfying sound of woks sizzling. It’s a quintessential Singaporean supper experience you don’t want to miss!

#3) Chong Pang Nasi Lemak; Late-Night Eats of Comfort Food

📍 447 Sembawang Road, Singapore 758404Open until 6 AM

Nasi lemak is always a good idea, and Chong Pang Nasi Lemak is the place to go for a satisfying plate, even in the wee hours. This stall has been around for years, and its legendary reputation is well-earned.

Here, the fragrant coconut rice is served with perfectly marinated fried chicken wings, crispy ikan bilis (anchovies), and a side of their famous sweet-spicy sambal. You can also customize your meal with an array of sides, from stir-fried long beans to sambal brinjal. This is where you should be if you’re craving a comforting, hearty meal.

#4) Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant for Dim Sum Cravings

📍 183-191 Jalan Besar, Singapore 208882Open until 4 AM

When it comes to late-night eats, dim sum is always a winner. Swee Choon is a household name in Singapore’s dim sum scene, offering a wide selection of steamed and fried delights.

Their liu sha bao (salted egg custard buns) are an absolute must-try—the moment you bite into them, the creamy, golden filling oozes out beautifully. Other highlights include their signature mee suah kueh (crispy vermicelli cake) and xiao long bao (soup dumplings). Whether you’re wrapping up a night out or just in the mood for a dim sum feast, Swee Choon never disappoints.

#5) R.K. Eating House, The King of Prata & Murtabak

📍 1 Kensington Park Road, Singapore 557253Open 24 hours

R.K. Eating House is where you go when you need a late-night eat that’s both filling and indulgent. This 24-hour Indian-Muslim eatery is famous for its massive tissue prata—a towering, crispy delight that’s both a treat for the eyes and the taste buds.

Their murtabak (stuffed pancake) is a great option if you want something savoury. It is packed with spiced minced meat, eggs, and onions. Pair it with a glass of frothy teh tarik, and you’ve got a meal that hits all the right notes.

Final Thoughts

Singapore is truly a haven for late-night eats, and these five spots are just the tip of the iceberg. Whether you’re in the mood for crispy chicken wings, comforting nasi lemak, or steaming hot dim sum, there’s always something delicious waiting for you. So next time hunger strikes after dark, skip the instant noodles and head out for a proper late-night feast!
